How to Use Homework Alabama: Access Issues?

This guide is intended as an overview of how to use Homework Alabama. It covers the tutoring service, drop-off, and static resources.

How to Resolve Access Issues

Because Homework Alabama uses GeoIP location as its primary authentication method, some areas that are close to other state borders can receive an IP address error when trying to access the service.  If you or a patron receives an IP address error, please go to www.whatismyip.com.  Copy your ip address and send an email to librarysupport@tutor.com that says:

“I live in [enter your city or town], Alabama, and cannot access Homework Alabama. My ip number is [enter your ip address from website]. Can you please connect me?”

Because your local public library may be closed or operating under limited hours, contact APLS' reference staff at reference@apls.state.al.us. Be sure to put Homework Alabama Help in the subject line to receive prompt assistance!
